           Description
  The Fundy Help Hearing Association is a volunteer group that consists of hearing-impaired individuals and their families. The Association serves persons with mild to severe hearing loss who communicate by speech. Its goals are to be a resource and support service for hard-of-hearing people, to promote public awareness of the special needs of people with hearing difficulties, to emphasize the need for churches, theatres, etc. to be equipped with special listening devices. Monthly programs are designed to provide practical information. The meetings are equipped with an audio-loop system and overhead projector. The Association is a Branch of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association

                  Details Monthly meetings on the third Monday of each month at St. Andrews United Church in Truro from 7:30-9:00. Information is provided regarding how to manage loss of hearing and management of hearing aids, and speech reading takes place at each meeting.
